Things are constantly being changed and rearranged around here.

A lot of love and energy is put into the house to ensure the perfect balance of home comforts and refreshing simplicity.

Below is a collection of our favourite things.

Rewild Co

Upon entering The Monarch, the first thing you’ll see is the light flowing in through the glass atrium. The next thing to ignite your senses is the beautiful handcrafted scent by Rewild Co.

Pretty Little Biscuit

You’ll find a little gift on arrival in the form of a branded biscuit made locally in Wagga Wagga by Pretty Little Biscuit. They look great and taste even better!

Canningvale

We chose Canningvale for their bed linen is both stylish and luxurious. A bonus is that they are an Australian owned and family operated business.

Inside Out Tumut

Most of the items found in the kitchen can be purchased locally from Inside Out Homestore. Our go-to for kitchenware, crockery, glassware, cookware, homewares and decorator items. The artwork in the bedroom with the bay window was also purchased from here.

L’Occitane

We love L’Occitane for their award-winning and nature-inspired bath and body products. The body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner found at The Monarch comes from the Verbana collection with a fresh, citrusy scent. Visit the L’Occitane website here for information on their beautiful products and all the good things they are doing to reduce waste, source ethically, support women and respect biodiversity.

For All Australia

We get a lot of questions from guests and surprisingly, one of them is ‘what do you clean with?’. We clean with an amazing product called ‘For All' Australia’. We have been using it for almost two years and we love it. We use it for almost everything! Made in Melbourne and committed to non toxic eco friendly cleaning!

Yarn’n for a cause

We take our toilet paper very seriously here at The Monarch and have recently switched over to Yarn’n toilet paper. Proudly made in Australia and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. 50% of profits from each Yarn’n roll go straight to educating First Nations Children of Australia. We can’t recommend Yarn’n highly enough!

Grampians Goods Co

The beautiful and warm tartan wool blankets found in the lounge room are purchased from Grampian Goods Co, an Australian business. They are made from recycled wool and machine washable.

Caring for Country Children’s Book
