The Tumut Mountain Bike Park boasts an extensive network of more than 20km of single tracks meandering through natural bushland, catering to riders of all skill levels. Dedicated members of Tumut MTB inc, who are local volunteers, do an incredible job at maintaining the trails, ensuring they are safe and enjoyable for riders. They are also committed to enhancing the existing trails and crafting new ones. Access the park from the dirt road intersection near the parking area off Fairway Drive/Herbert Street.

The best thing (or one of many best things) about Tumut being a small country town is the quiet country roads which are a dream for any road cyclist. For a quick 20km-ish loop, head towards Tumut Plains along the Snowy Mountains Highway there is the option to turn left onto West Blowering Road to climb Blowering Dam Wall or continue on to turn right onto Tumut Plains Road to complete a loop returning back to town. Choose your own adventure, weaving in and out of native forests and pine plantation with challenging downhill runs and technical climbs to test your skills. For those just wanting a cruise day out, there are plenty of beginner trail options. Find these trails on Masons Hill Forest Road and take the second left (follow the signs) to the trailhead parking.
