FAMILY

First time I have arrived at a destination and it is better than the brochure. A beautiful house as well as a great location - close enough to the shopping strip to walk for anything, but also the river and river path only a short walk down the hill.
Everything was so beautiful, I just wanted to move in. Lots of light, lots of amenities - both inside and out - and we all fully enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Amazing place rooms very nice and comfortable beds heating was amazing there was free bread chocolates and cookies bread was so fresh and the free stuff was fantastic I loved it. It was just down the road from food places which was very good. There was so many bored games really good entertainment it was very fun. Would definitely stay here again. Must stay so good and it was a good price for the place.

HOLIDAY - FAMILY

We spent Easter 2025 at the Monarch in Tumut NSW. The home is well located between the peaceful river walk and town. The home is spacious and well appoInted. The owners really thought of everything in setting up thIs accomodation and were very helpful. This is our second stay (first in April 2021).

BEAUTIFUL

This is the best place we have ever stayed as a family. The attention to detail in the whole experience is beyond expectations. It felt like we were the first guests to ever stay there! Whilst this was a short stay for the family to unwind and recharge with phones and social media turned off - boy was it worth it! Such wonderful, thoughtful hosts - the homestead has been lovingly restored and is packed with games for the family, all streaming services for a cinema experience on the comfy lounge and the walking tracks and parks nearby were magnificent. We could not recommend the Monarch enough. Thank you for having us and congratulations on what you provide for your guests.

THE MONARCH IS THE COMPLETE PACKAGE

Beautifully presented home both inside and out. The location, attention to detail, cleanliness and all the extras are very impressive. The hosts were easy to communicate with and made our stay at The Monarch very enjoyable. Would most definitely stay here again.

A fantastic place to stay, unmatched in Tumut or the region. Wendy and Peter are exceptional hosts. All the little touches and personalisation of the accommodation. A fantastic spot to return to after a days fly fishing. Will definitely return.
